WRE application forms for season 2012 available
Dear member federations,
Please find attached the WRE application forms for season 2012. The forms can also be found on the IOF website: Choose discipline menu -> Event Organising / Event Application forms. A brief summary of details to be considered with regard to WREs:
- A separate form should be completed for each event
- The name of the IOF Event Adviser must be submitted at least 6 months prior to the competition
- WRE Guidelines text in bold has mandatory status
Mountain bike orienteering:WRE MTBO, MTB O Major

- Each federation is allowed to apply for a maximum of two WREs. The IOF MTB Orienteering Commission would prefer events on a weekend or in conjunction with a multi-day event. The attached calendar outlines the dates of major IOF mountain bike orienteering events during season 2012.
- The deadline for applications is now at end of September. Applications received after the deadline will not be considered.
- The IOF Adviser is required to have a license in mountain bike orienteering (should there be problems in finding a MTBO Adviser, please contact me).
- After the event application has been approved, all changes in the particularities of an event are subject to the IOF MTB Orienteering Commission’s approval
- A separate form should be completed for each event
NB! The IOF Event Adviser must be independent from the organizing team - he/she cannot be the contact or results contact person.
